identita e missione Fondazione Roma Mediterraneo, established in March 2008 by the Fondazione Roma, aims to promote economic, social and cultural development in Mediterranean countries through joint projects that revive their shared values and lead to the achievement of a common Mediterranean identity.

Reaping the harvest of the task that led to the publication entitled “Arte e Cultura del Mediterraneo nel XX secolo (Art and Culture in the twentieth Century Mediterranean)” this foundation is part of the strategy to enhance culture as an instrument for knowledge, comparison and dialogue in the direction taken by the Fondazione Roma for the purpose of contributing to the great challenges that involve our cultural roots and ideals, both in the present period and in the future of our society, with suggestions, discussions and a planning ability.
